Every server on our hosting system is based around dual processor Pentium Xeon or Pentium III processors, a minimum of 512MB of memory and hot swappable SCSI hard drives. We use IBM filer systems ensuring your data is safe and always available.

Hosting Options

There are three basic hosting options:

Isle Standard

This package is designed for the small business that has no technical requirements for their website but still wants to have an Internet presence. Hosted on our collocated servers, this package features scripting support for Perl and CGI scripts.

Isle Pro

Designed for the more advanced website, the Isle Pro Package includes support for databases such as Microsoft Access and Foxpro. Full ASP scripting support means that your website can be updated from a backbone database. Frontpage extensions are also supported on this package so that users can modify their own site with ease.

Isle Commerce

The big daddy of hosting options. Full SSL support so that areas of your website can be secured for e-commerce applications. SQL server support for the site that requires integration into internal systems means that your website retrieves data instantly from SQL databases. (SQL database hosting subject to an additional fee. Please call us to discuss your requirements).

All websites are hosted on Windows 2003 Servers with dual Pentium processors and 1Gb of memory and full backup/UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) systems in place.

E-mail virus protection is performed utilising McAfee Dr Solomon’s Virus Protection systems.

Dial up connections can be provided if required and support both normal 56k modem and ISDN technologies.

Premium and Platinum

Either of these options can then be further boosted by upgrading to Premium or Platinum status. This will give you dedicated servers and bandwidth for your business with either 5 or 10 times the processing power of our standard servers.

Variations to the above server hosting options are as follows:

Premium – 5 times the processing power and memory allocation.
Platinum – 10 times the processing power and memory allocation.

Both the Premium and Platinum servers are provided with mirrored mail servers and low population web servers ensuring that your site benefits from the additional processor speed and memory, the ideal solution for busy e-commerce and business critical sites.
